Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established, family-run SME, specialising in manufacturing bespoke machinery for over 35 years. They are looking for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to be part of their current growth strategy. They have a fantastic culture which has lead to a low staff turnover.

The company caters to a wide range of clients of all sizes across numerous sectors such as Nuclear, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Renewable Energy and Oil & Gas. You will be part of the complete engineering process in-house from initial research & development to manufacturing installation & inspection. Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed engineering drawings and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) creation.
• Collaborate closely with clients to interpret and meet specific requirements.
• Apply engineering principles to solve technical challenges and deliver quality solutions.
• Support site surveys and installation when necessary.
• Manage multiple projects and deliverables effectively, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £32k, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays,
