Employment Solutions are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a well-established company based in the OL14 area. Our clients deal with a range of machinery parts for the oil and gas and mining industry.
Currently seeking a skilled Electrical Technician for night shifts, Monday to Friday, from 10 pm to 6 am. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a supportive and expanding team within the manufacturing sector. The role focuses on ensuring machinery reliability through preventative maintenance, attending breakdowns, and supporting equipment overhauls, all contributing to increased plant availability and reliability.
This position is ideal for a qualified, experienced electrical technician with a background in heavy machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while prioritising their tasks effectively. A team player at heart, you should also be committed to maintaining high safety standards and able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime risks.
- Diagnose and respond to breakdowns, prioritising issues effectively.
- Carry out machine overhauls and remedial repairs to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting.
- Provide flexibility to support unplanned maintenance as require
Reporting directly to the maintenance manager, the role has a competitive salary from £36,000 - £50,000 per annum, comprehensive training and career progression opportunities. This will be a 40 hour-working week with an unpaid lunch. Excellent pension scheme. Holidays 25 days plus bank holidays.
