If you are an experienced Manufacturing Engineer seeking a new role, working for a Leader in their Sector, who constantly deliver innovative and world-class manufacturing solutions. This is the role for you!

The successful candidate will work across multiple disciplines, contributing to the design and optimisation of complex processes, from advanced machining to industrial robotics and automation.

A deep understanding of novel and complex manufacturing systems, coupled with experience in system design and process simulation, is essential. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-performance products that meet stringent safety and environmental standards, driving innovation and excellence within a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and assess technical requirements from 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Define production solutions, including conceptual and detailed design of capital equipment
  • Assess the safety and environmental impact of new equipment and processes
  • Develop methods and processes to optimise recurring manufacturing costs
  • Prove out processes and troubleshoot development and optimisation challenges
  • Incorporate advanced quality planning principles into process and product design
  • Deliver NC programs, fixtures, and process instructions within agreed timescales
  • Provide production documentation and support the training of operations teams
  • Support manufacturing system design and simulation activity
  • Research emerging technologies and conduct process development trials
  • Work with subcontractors and partners to install and commission new processes
  • Review process data to drive continuous improvement aligned with Lean Six Sigma methodologies

Salary
Up to £55,000, dependent on experience
