We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing product development client who supply into the pharmaceutical industry. Working in a small close-knit team, this is a diverse role covering mainly mechanical aspects in a liquids/chemical type environment, with a focus on safety, working in a highly regulated environment, this is a great role for a skilled engineer looking for work-life balance.
This position is ideal for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with experience in chemical plant maintenance or a related field. A time-served apprenticeship and expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering are essential. Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned and emergency maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing faults.
* Optimize plant equipment through preventive maintenance to enhance safety, reliability, and productivity.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
* Complete risk assessments, method statements, and adhere to permit-to-work procedures.
* Plan and execute maintenance projects within budget and deadlines.
This role comes with a rewarding overall package, consisting of £42,000 per annum, Annual Bonus, AXA private medical, Onsite gym, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, amongst other benefits
