Mobile Plant Fitter

We are currently head hunting remote based plant fitter to join one of the industries most renown engineering groups within the sector, to assist with recent plans to improve equipment maintenance lead time. Contributing to the civil engineering, rail and infrastructure sectors, this company maintain equipment which is essential in some of the countries high profile infrastructure projects. Who This Job Would Suit

This role is ideal for individuals from a mechanic/plant background, preferably holding a PTS certificate. Candidates should have experience with mechanics, general tool or fleet hire equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of railway infrastructure is preferred.. A willingness to drive or learn to drive is also important, with charismatic personality preferred to represent the company in a positive light in a customer facing role

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repairs to the required standard both in the depot and on customer sites.
• Instigate orders for spares and ensure essential spares are always in stock.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness of equipment.
• Accurately record repair data and manage fleet repair costs.
• Perform other necessary duties related to the daily operation of the organization.

Salary

£29063 + UPLIFT (£1560 or £3120 if inside the M25)
