An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Paint Shop Operative to join a rapidly growing company at its modern fabrication facility on the outskirts of Preston. This is a 26-week contract role, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Offering a pay rate of £12.40 per hour, the successful candidate will join a dynamic team during an exciting period of expansion.

This position would be ideal for an experienced Paint Shop Operative with a solid understanding of powder coating processes and the ability to work independently. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to health and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and daily work schedules
- Use hand tools to prepare parts for powder coating
- Operate Phoswash and oven to prepare parts
- Hang parts on racks for coating
- Assign paint colours to jobs and prepare cabinets for coating
- Sand, mask, and bung parts as needed
- Load sprayed items into the oven and operate the oven
