An exciting opportunity has become available for a Press Brake Operative to join a rapidly expanding company at its state-of-the-art fabrication facility near Preston. Initially offered on a 26-week contract basis, this role provides the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. With a competitive pay rate starting at £13.78 per hour, this role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team during a period of significant growth.
Ideal Candidate:
This role would suit an experienced Press Brake Operative who is capable of operating, setting, and maintaining press brake machinery. The ideal candidate will be confident in using existing programs, creating new ones, and setting up tooling accordingly. The role requires strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of health and safety practices. If you are self-motivated, adaptable, and seeking a long-term opportunity, this position could be perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machinery to produce components
- Set and adjust programs and tooling for various jobs
- Write new programs and adjust tooling as required
- Perform basic maintenance of the press brake
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
