After winning some substantial long-term Projects the business is looking for support from a Project Admin Assistant / Document Controller to join a dynamic team on a temporary contract expected to last 12 months.

Our client offers bespoke Engineering solutions to their customers through the Design & Manufacture of a variety of systems, parts and components used across Power Generation, Nuclear, Subsea, Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas and more.

You'll gain experience across Quality, Purchasing, Finance and Manufacturing documentation developing your skills in technical administration.

Ideal Candidate
This requires someone with strong organisational skills to manage various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of project activities. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to key aspects of project management, including document control, purchasing assistance, and quality assurance support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage document control, including handling submittals and maintaining records.
  • Assist with purchasing, including planning, tracking, and cash flow analysis.
  • Oversee credit management with suppliers to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Scan, sort, and organise documents within the project folder.
  • Compile the Manufacturing Record Book in collaboration with the QA engineer.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Document Control or Technical Admin role
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong IT & Systems experience
  • Experience within an Engineering or Manufacturing sector

Location: St Helens
Contract: 6-12 months (PAYE or Umbrella)
Pay Rate: circa £15 /hr (PAYE) or £20 /hr (Umbrella)
Working Hours: Full Time - 0830am - 1700pm (Mon-Thurs) and 0830am-1430pm (Fri)
