Dave was born, raised and schooled in Stretford, Manchester. After leaving school, he studied performing arts at South Trafford College and graduated with a distinction. After college, he tried out various jobs including lighting operator at the Palace Theatre, barman at his local pub and building gas meters at Schlumberger. He was placed in this last role by Employment Solutions director Neil Davies (then working for another agency). Neil saw Dave’s potential and later offered him his first recruitment role in 2000.

Dave worked closely with Neil and followed him to Employment Solutions, running his own mechanical and electrical engineering desk for several years. Alongside his recruitment duties, Dave started to take an interest in financial administration and was trained in payroll by Ian Pilkington the financial director.

In 2006, he was offered the opportunity to work with Ian in the accounts and payroll department on a permanent basis which he accepted and has since completed levels 2 & 3 of the AAT qualification.

Dave takes great pride in ensuring all contractors are paid correctly and on time, he strives to offer a professional and courteous service to all clients.
