We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. This role involves producing detailed electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and offering support both in the office and on-site. You will be responsible for designing electrical systems and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Design Engineer with a background in industrial or manufacturing settings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce electrical drawings using E-Plan, including panel layouts, bill of materials, and rating plates.
  • Create single line diagrams with cable identifications to support competitive quotations from Electrical Contractors.
  • Attend site meetings with project engineers to liaise directly with customers.
  • Specify electrical instrumentation, such as flow sensors and level probes, as required.
  • Design pneumatic circuits and supply detailed bills of materials for pneumatic components.
  • Relevant experience as an electrical design engineer.
  • E-Plan and Autocad essential.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £42,000 + Bonus, 25 days holiday (rising with experience), and a range of other benefits.

The focus of the role: You will be working on bespoke machine projects including front end specifications responsibilities.

Working week: 34 hours with flexible starts 8am-10am and flexible finish times 4pm-6pm. Early finish 3pm on Fridays.
