We have an excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturer of specialised components, offering a friendly and supportive working environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of documentation within the company, which has a strong reputation for valuing and taking care of its employees.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Administration Assistant for a 6-month temporary role, with the potential to become a permanent position. This role requires supporting senior management by performing various administrative tasks, such as managing communications, organising meetings, and maintaining office systems. The position offers a dynamic work environment and requires someone who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth operation of the office.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a half-hour unpaid meal break, and Friday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all Directors with administrative duties.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers, clients, and suppliers via email, phone, or in person.
  • Welcome visitors, organise security clearance, and escort them to meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, including scheduling, reminders, and preparing materials.
  • Take dictation and minutes during meetings.
  • Produce reports and briefs as required.
  • Organise filing systems and update office databases.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing.
  • Arrange travel plans and accommodation for staff members.
  • Order office supplies, such as stationery and printer refills.
  • Respond to questions and requests for information.
  • Perform general office duties, including copying, scanning, and filing documents.
