We have a fantastic opportunity for a long-established engineering firm, specialising in steel fabrication and GRP installation. They are seeking a Project Support Engineer to assist with the management of small-scale projects. With over 30 years' experience in the railway, construction, and utilities sectors, the company prides itself on delivering bespoke solutions with a skilled workforce and cutting-edge facilities.

This role would be ideal for someone with a practical understanding of engineering drawings and project coordination. It suits an organised, detail-focused individual who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Ideal candidates will be early in their engineering careers and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of small projects
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the internal workshop team
• Support the preparation of documentation and progress reports
• Ensure all activities meet quality, safety, and project requirements

In return you'll receive a salary of £40k-£45k.
