A leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic, insulation, and rubber products is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their Manchester-based team. This role involves supporting the Production Manager in various daily organisational tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete work orders assigned by internal sales teams.

  • Collaborate with team members to manage weekly workload effectively.

  • Interpret technical drawings and work to varying tolerances.

  • Operate and inspect measuring equipment.

  • Conduct first-off and last-part inspections.

  • Manage tool storage and request replacement tooling when necessary.

  • Recycle materials where appropriate.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong health and safety awareness.

  • Need to be Skilled CNC Machinist.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong communication, decision-making, and time management skills.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
