About BCH
Formed in 1825, BCH has a worldwide reputation as a manufacturer of high-quality process systems and machinery in the food and confectionery industry. Based in Rochdale, the company supplies businesses based in the UK and around the world.
Employment Solutions first started working with BCH in 2015. As the North West’s leading recruitment agency for the automation and special-purpose machinery sectors, BCH was impressed with our industry knowledge and expertise.
The challenge
Since 2015, we have supplied the manufacturer with personnel covering a wide range of engineering disciplines. These roles have included blue-collar positions, such as mechanical fitters, fabricators, machine electricians, and also white-collar roles such as PLC programmers.
Over the years, BCH has used a selection of our flexible recruitment processes to meet their needs. We have sourced and supplied candidates for temporary contracts to cover peaks and troughs in the company’s workload, while also facilitating the transfer of Employment Solution contractors onto BCH’s permanent payroll following their probation period.
The results
To date, we have placed 12 candidates, split across their disciplines, and enjoy a positive and enduring working relationship with the company. Whenever BCH’s order book demands, we are the first company that it approaches.
