About M&P Engineering
M&P Engineering (M&P) is a food processing equipment manufacturer that supplies food production, preparation and filling equipment to major companies worldwide.
With two manufacturing sites in the North West, one in Trafford Park and the other in Ashton-under-Lyne, the company’s flagship product is an innovative onion-peeling machine.
The partnership
Employment Solutions started working with M&P on its recruitment needs more than ten years ago. The company was working with another of our clients and we were recommended as the go-to agency for specialist engineering recruitment - a great endorsement of our skills and knowledge.
The results
Since those early days, Employment Solutions has filled a variety of roles at the manufacturer’s two sites. These positions have included design engineers, project managers, engineering administration staff and also shop floor engineers - mechanical fitters, machinists, and engineering stores personnel.
To date, we have made 37 placements at M&P.

In addition to our expertise, the key to our long-term success with this family-run business has been the close and prosperous working relationship between M&P’s managing director Pamela Nugent and our founder and director Neil Davis.
